My first trek

Hello everyone, many of us like adventure sports like trekking, off-road racing, bungee jumping, etc. I am also one of them so I thought of going on a trek. I was 14 years old when I started trekking. My first trek was 'Naneghat-Jivdhan' with my favorite uncle and his friends.

I was very excited to climb the mountain and Jivdhan Fort. At midnight we reached the starting point with our personal vehicles, we had dinner there made a tent for sleeping, and lit the bonfire. That was the rainy season and the temperature over there was 22 degrees Celsius, it was quite cold so everyone slept as soon as they went into their sleeping bags but I was awake due to tomorrow's excitement. At morning 7:00am we started climbing, due to the low temperature and no wind flow there was a lot of humidity in the environment so everyone was feeling thirsty after a short while, due to frequent drinking of water our water storage started becoming empty. One of our members was carrying jaggery chikki, so we were eating that chikki and black dates on the road. But one of my friends didn't eat we kept it and further, we saw a monkey so my friend gave half a chikki to that monkey after eating it monkey started grooming us as he was asking for more chikkis when he saw that he growled loudly, my friend was very frightened, by lucky he somehow managed to get out of that situation.

After 5 hours of climbing, we reached the top of Naneghat. We had lunch there and proceeded forward to Jivdhan Fort. We filled our whole water storage from nearby water resources. While getting towards our final destination we got into the wrong route, It was huge mistake so after checking all the routes we found out the correct route and started walking through that way. As it was rainy season we were taking all the necessary measures to avoid the injuries. The main and most difficult part of climbing was we used rope for climbing it when the first time I saw that patch I was very frightened but when I saw others climbing it very easily I got confidence and climbed it. When we were enjoying the beauty of nature honey bees attacked us and we started to run and just get out of that area. After getting out of that situation too, we started climbing off the fort, and through Naneghat we reached the point from where we started. Nearby at 7:00 pm, we started our return journey.

Even though I faced lots of problems in the trek I learned many things from it such as how to cook, team work, how to get out of the toughest situation, being happy in odd situations too, etc. My first trek experience was fantastic; from that time I have never missed any trek with anyone.
